TEEBC recently conducted a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Third Party Administration and Brokerage Services for the services offered to member districts and its employees.

We are happy to announce that the selected firm is First Financial Group of America.  This new contract period will be from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2024.

TEEBC will once again go out for bid on this contract at least one year prior to the expiration of the contract.

TEEBC is currently conducting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Third Party Administration and Brokerage Services to be offered to the employees of participating Texas School Districts.

This RFQ will close on October 30, 2018 and the selected firm will be announced at the Winter TEEBC board meeting.  The awarded firm will be selected Administrator for TEEBC for the contract term of 5 years beginning September 1, 2019.

TEEBC recently completed a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Home and Auto coverage and on August 2, 2018 the TEEBC Board approved MetLife as the sole carrier for the Home and Auto Insurance coverage. MetLife provided a superior offering for the Members of TEEBC, which will offer access to one of the largest carriers in the nation at competitive rates.

Members of TEEBC will have the opportunity to enhance their Benefit program by offering this valuable benefit to their employees. Employees will have the ability to save significant dollars participating in a group offered Home and Auto Insurance program.

More Information will be distributed over the next couple of months on how to take advantage of this offering.

Recently, we completed an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) for Vision coverage. On July 20th, 2017 the TEEBC Board Members approved the following carriers for use through the TEEBC Interlocal Participation Agreement (IPA).

TEEBC is pleased to announce that Sun Life was the awarded group life/ad&d carrier for the TEEBC Class of 2016 Large District Group Life Program RFP.  TEEBC was able to obtain a 15% rate reduction for both the employee and employer paid group life/ad&d coverage’s for the 10 member districts that participated.

In addition to this great savings opportunity, the districts were able to keep their current plan designs and lock-in these great low rates for 3 years.
