President
Pete currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Leander ISD. He has twenty-two years’ experience as the CFO in public school districts. He has experience at 2A, 3A, and 5A/6A districts as well as providing business support to schools as an ESC employee. He also served the Goose Creek CISD community as a school board member from 2015-2019.
Pete is a graduate from Angelo State University with a BBA/MBA in accounting and is a CPA. He is currently enrolled at UHCL in the Educational Leadership Doctoral program.
Pete and Christina Pape have been married for over 27 years and are proud parents of Cassadi Cazares, Jaron Pape, and Cammi Pape. The Pape’s are active in their church and strive to live by its principles.
Pete enjoys endurance sports and anything Volkswagen. He has completed multiple Ironman Triathlons, numerous half-ironman triathlons, and multiple marathons. He enjoys his 1963 VW Karmann Ghia and is currently restoring 4 VW buses and a VW Thing.
